Title: ‘Visualising Data’ art foundation project – 3D model and original wire frame sketches.

Media/Size: Model – different varieties of wire, staples, metal “Jacks”, glue, paint and chipboard (A4 base). Sketch – coloured pencil, fine-liner (A4)

Description: The data represented in this model are “the buildings that excited me the most during a specific week.” The sketches show my initial ideas when thinking around the concept. I chose materials that look jagged and uncomfortable to match the structures that inspired me (e.g. jacks to appear like barbed wire). Lastly, I made the structures cluttered together to appear like a crowded city environment.
